Ordinary day DVD - Emergency life skills

Project Aim

Designed for children and young people, aged 5-15 years, this resource illustrates specific emergency life support skills.

What does the project entail

During this 40 minute DVD, a range of situations are presented, including choking, serious bleeding, a suspected heart attack and cardiac arrest. This enables teachers to approach emergency life skills through the use of a DVD and use as a potential training resource. This is suitable for ages 6-11 years and 11-14 years.

What is required from the school?

The schools would need to order through the British Heart Foundation website -

Suggested Donation: £10.00 each

How do the pupils directly benefit?

The pupils will be exposed to emergency life skills in an age appropriate manner, which will enable them to learn vital emergency aid skills.
